The media are always looking for interesting stories about people travelling to Malaysia for surgery and who have had an interesting life or story to tell.

If you do get to be involved in a media article and show your before/after photos, then we will reimburse you for your time and thanks for doing this - $500 Aust. If you have a really compelling and interesting story to tell then sometimes the media outlet will pay you additionally between $500-$1000, but this is up to them and negotiated on the strength of the story.

If you are called to do an interview, then it is normally a very quick and easy process - a journalist will call you and ask you a few questions. Occasionally they will ask for a separate photoshoot, in which case they will organise a time for a photographer to come to your house to do some more photos.

Normally the questions you will be asked are quite light and easy eg. how did you feel before surgery, what prompted you to get surgery, and why did you go to Malaysia for surgery.

Before we can get you an opportunity, we need you to fill in the following few questions, the more interesting information you can add the more your chances of getting an interview and getting more money for your interview!

Photos - you can change your name, but the interview will almost always require face photos.
