Dr Jalil
A kind hearted, patient man with excellent reputation, for long or complicated surgeries. Best for people who want a surgeon with a caring and understanding bedside manner.

Age: Mid 50s

Personality: Dr Jalil is very humble, reassuring and relaxing. Many past patients describe him as really caring. He does not fit the typical stereotypical surgeon; he is very friendly, easy to talk to and relaxed. Typically, he will either greet you wearing jeans or in his green scrubs! He is very confident and if you are not sure what you want, he is excellent with appropriate advice and predicting what exactly will suit you. He works long hours, but he will give you all the time for consultations.

Pros: Long, thorough consultations, flexibility with times - will see you any day of the week and weekend if he is available. His quiet yet confident manner puts you at ease, no question is silly and he answers them, leaving you feeling informed and trusting. He is really highly respected, and has recently been "knighted" by the king of Malaysia.

Cons: Waiting time for his consultations is often long, we cannot give exact times until the morning of your consultation - sometimes consultations are done very late at night after his surgery. However, he has great stamina and amazing patience so he will always have time for patients.  

Best for: Multiple procedures, larger ladies for extended tummy tucks, and ladies and men who are not sure exactly what they want and they want reliable advice from a knowledgeable surgeon.

Dr Nasir
A very experienced surgeon with training in Melbourne, Australia. Dr Nasir is an extremely popular and highly skilled surgeon who spends long hours in the operating theatre, so his consultation time may be more limited than other surgeons.

Age: Mid 50s

Personality: Dr Nasir has a deserved reputation amongst medical personnel and patients as a consummately skilled professional surgeon. His surgery time is his major priority often putting in many extra hours to get the best possible results for his patients. He is a clear communicator about procedures, however he is not a ‘chatty’ doctor, and so therefore consultation times are often relatively brief.

Pros: His package prices in a wonderful hospital is unbeatable, no-nonsense approach to patients, flexible times as he works long hours, very clear and precise communication. Dr Nasir works at both PCMC (5 star hospital) and IMC (day centre), so he gives both options to patients depending on your needs, surgery and budget.

Cons: Mainly with his limited consultation time: Dr Nasir doesn’t beat about the bush in consultations, giving information clearly and quickly, so his consultations are much shorter than other surgeons.

His operating schedules mean that he does patient consultations either before or after surgery and this can result in his in-patient consultations happening at odd hours, such as late at night or during weekends.  He frequently does his consultations on the day of surgery as  he finds that this is a better and more efficient way of doing surgery, so all the details that you spoke about in the consultation are fresh in his mind. However, this does not give patients new to surgery much time for reflection or questioning. This is good for patients who are straightforward, know what they want and they don’t want to wait hours and days for their surgery. However, if you don’t want to have short or a consultation close to surgery, then you may want to choose another surgeon.

Best for: Patients who know exactly what they want, done their homework and don’t need a long discussion of choices and options. Those who want an outstanding surgeon and hospital at a reasonable price, and who understand that consultation times will be shorter because of the popularity of the surgeon.

Dr Steve Wong
The most experienced plastic surgeon in Malaysia (30 years), with a preference for local anesthetic / twilight sedation for facelifts. Dr Steve is known to be direct and to the point, he is a very clear communicator, so he is the best choice for those looking for an experienced, excellent surgeon. He is our number 1 facelift surgeon, plus local anesthetic/twilight sedation will mean quicker recovery and less risk of complications!

Age: Mid 50’s

Personality: Dr Wong is an extremely professional surgeon who gives direct and precise answers. He knows what he wants and doesn’t want and he is very upfront to patients. He is a no-nonsense surgeon who is very direct with patients, but once you get to know him he does present a softer side. He is extremely thorough in his consultations - he will tell you what can and cannot be done. He is extremely confident and has the past experience and happy patients to back his confidence up!

Pros: He has longer consultations and will go out of his way for patients to see them often for consultations or follow up. Dr Wong is known for his excellent suture work.

Cons: Can have a direct no-nonsense approach at first. He really is quite passionate about surgery and will make sure that all his patients understand their surgery and there are no miscommunications. Once the communication process starts, you will see that he is a very nice man to speak and deal with and he shows care and concern to his patients. He also takes lots and lots of photos throughout the surgery so if you are not squeamish, you can ask for these photos of your surgery!

Best for: Patients who want the best facial surgeon and will not be put off by his direct manner. Dr Wong may appear overly directive with staff and patients and this is probably his personality, but he is absolutely the best surgeon for facelifts.

Dr Heng
A compassionate man who specializes  in Breasts procedures and Liposuction. He is very conservative and so only for straightforward, non complicated patients requiring single procedures.

Surgery specialization: Our number 1 Breast surgeon! He is also known for a new liposuction technique – Vaser Liposelection, which promises more fat removed at lower risks and faster recovery.

Age: Late 40’s

Personality: Dr Heng is a soft-spoken surgeon, very pleasant to communicate and be with. He has an even temper and gets to know his patients well. He manages his diary very effectively to give him appropriate quality time for both consultations and procedures so he rarely needs to work late or long hours.

Pros: He is very professional and easy to communicate with and relate to, and will give you clear and precise information on the best options for you. He uses many different brands of implants and does favor the anatomical (tear drop) shape.

Cons: He will not accept bookings without photos. He also requests a 1,000RM deposit for surgery on booking to guarantee your booking date. He will not take any risks by undertaking procedures when he thinks that surgery is ill advised or risky.

Best for: Patients who are straightforward, non-complicated, and who want the best breast surgeon at a reasonable price. Liposuction is slightly more expensive than other surgeons, but those who can their budget available are very pleased with the better results that Vaser Liposelection gives.

Dr Tan
Dr Tan is a very kind, gentle man who gives lots of time for his patient. He is the best choice for people on a really strict budget and who still want a reliable surgeon at a hospital with excellent facilities.

Cons: Dr Tan is best for standard, straightforward and non-complicated single cases.

Dr Eileen Fong
Great for ladies who are having breast and/or liposuction and would prefer a female surgeon. She is excellent in all breast surgeries and a very warm, compassionate lady.
