The size and unusual shape of my breasts and areolas had bothered me since I'd lost weight while I was still growing. The idea of combining a romantic holiday with my partner, as well as having the surgery and having him being able to support me while I was there, was one of the events surrounding my decision to go ahead.

I considered plastic surgery 5 years ago when I realised my breasts would not grow anymore, and I was not happy about the size or shape. Breast augmentation was the only way to give me more confidence and to improve myself.

I was always very self conscious about the size and shape of my areolas as I have often been teased about them. This has persisted since I was a teenager. I had one consultation at home and did a lot of research. The cost of surgery at home and the enticement of having a great holiday with my partner was why I chose a surgery holiday rather than surgery at home.

I chose Gorgeous Getaways because they were reasonably priced and seemed more professional and coordinated than other companies I researched. I wasn't really that nervous at all, I was more excited than anything! I told a few friends and some of my family about my holiday but mostly wanted to keep the surgery a secret.

It all seemed so easy
I thought Dr Tan was very professional and I immediately felt at ease with him. The hospital was very nice and clean and new and even nicer than most hospitals at home. The Gorgeous Getaways support staff were great- very helpful and eager to assist.

I was very calm going in to surgery, but when I woke up I was very cold because of the anesthetic but that soon wore off as the nurses supplied me with my personal heater and gave me pain relief. So soon after I was comfortable and starting to relax. I was discharged 24 hours after surgery.

Looking great and feeling greater
I look and feel great! Everyone has told me how good I look, and I can't wait to get into a bikini these days so I can show myself off! Before I would always have to wear padded bras and made sure I got clothes that would try and make my boobs look bigger. Now I can buy the clothes I want and know for a fact that my breasts are going to look great and make me feel even greater!

Make sure you go with a partner, but if you don't there are many Gorgeous Getaways patients who you can befriend. Go for it! You definitely won't regret it and you will thank yourself every day for the gift you have been given.
